So I got an email today saying to look for a Big announcement. Is it going to be that the festival is moving to Buckeye Lake? Please tell me it ain't so.

Yeah they are moving somwhere I hope its buckey lake. the other place they were looking at I believe was in virginia

I have it on good authority now that it will be Buckeye Lake. Too bad. Now my favorite fest is off the list.

Will it still be in July?
This would be much closer for me, but also the Legend Valley Site is about six times hotter than All Good, there's gravel about the first 50 yards back from the stage hard to set on the ground even if you use a blanket and if they have the stage where they've always had it visibility not as good.
However if they had the festival either earlier or later in the year and capped ticket sales it would be a killer location.
Wonder if they will still have the sheriffs riding around and patrolling the stage area like Hookahville? That is somewhat disconcerting.

if they cap ticket sales that would be nice. i feel that because of all the politics that happened surrounding the last location this may just be a transitional year to another alternate location next year...but i think less people will come just because its a new location. and Its going to be close for me so its a win win but i feel alot of fans are uncomfortable with the move.

Any ideas when early bird tix will be going on sale? I can't remember when they went on sale last year. Im just too excited!

It is still in July and it will be hot as hell there. I was there in the summer of '87 and roasted. And, yes, if the stage set up is the same as then the visibility will suck. I love Marvin's because of the cooler temps in mid-summer and the good sightlines inside. Oh well...looks like Floydfest for me now.
