i just checked out All Good's web. site and encountered their work exchange program. Has anyone worked at this fest before? They say that you get a free festie ticket, but im not sure that it would be worth if it I ended up missing some of my favorite acts. Also, do you know weather you can choose the same shift as your friends if they sign up too?

Usually you can't pick your shifts but you are usually done by the time anybody good comes on. If you have the time, I suggest working post-show and knock it out in a day if you can. Just don't be to hung over or it will seriously suck.

yeah you can work pre-show. but usually those shifts go quickly so i suggest signing up asap. in my opinion, volunteering is the way to go, you meet some really chill people, it's a free ticket, you get access to a lot of places, and the security guards don't harass you as much.

WET is run by shimon presents, so you may want to check their website and email someone directly there.
please bear in mind that to work WET you have to submit a credit card number- if you don't work your sixteen hours, you will be charged full price for a ticket.
WET is a great way to do festivals and meet people. shimon is a great company, and seth and amy are great.

Hell yeah for volunteering with Shimon Presents! When I volley'd with them for last year's All Good, the whole time I worked I got to hear music. The folks you meet are solid, and you get the warm fuzzy satisfaction of helping put on a mighty fine time for a whole lot of heads. Enjoy yr. work experience sober... it ain't the chemicals that make the weekend magic, anyway!

it's just my phunny name for them. it all started one year that we pulled up to all good & the kid putting our bracelets on had no idea how to do it. you'd think someone who has been to a few shows would know how to put a bracelet on, so i figured he'd never been to one...hence, rent-a-kid.

The best way to get heady ground scores is to volley post-show cleanup with Clean Vibes. I got all kinds of goodies cleaning up after the IT festival and 'Roo '04.
