Hey Jerry, good to see you around here again! Thanks for posting these links... I'm listening to the 1st one now... NICE! :)

I had posted links to 2 of Keith's Jim Weider recordings a while back... both recorded in Jan (we met at the one), but not uploaded til May, at Jim's request because of the new release "Pearl"... but anyway my thread is slipping down, so I might as well repost them here. In fact, when you were logged on, you wouldn't have even seen my thread, because there was a problem with my account and all my posts and threads were gone for a while... 2nd time now that's happened, grrr... :(

Also, here are his home and MySpace sites, incase anyone wants to check out his tour schedule and stuff. Unfortunately I don't see any shows on there I can make, but I see he'll be at the Vibes so maybe some JamBasers will get a chance to check him out there.

By the way, Jerry, I sent you a couple PMs earlier this year that you never picked up... both outdated now, nevermind, lol... but you just might want to check your messages every once in a while, haha... or set yourself up to get email notifications of PMs, although many of us aren't getting our JamBase emails right now anyway... something that's been going on for a while now which they say they're working on. In fact, somebody please reply to this post, so that I can test my "email me when someone replies" feature again, thanks.

Hey Vikki, Keith always makes excellent recordings. I haven't been on here in a while plus there was a problem with my account too.

Jim will be playing at the Vibes in Levon Helm's Band. His own band Project Percolator just keeps getting better and better. The actual title of his new cd is called "Pulse". The only show that this band has currently scheduled in on August 7th in Philly. Rodney Holmes has a gig scheduled with his new solo band "Lithium Tree" in Bethlehem, PA at a place called the Wildflower on August 28th.

Jim Weider, Rodney Holmes and Mitch Stein are all on Facebook too.

Oops... "Pulse", not Pearl, lol... I knew that!

I've actually been to the Wildflower Cafe in Bethlehem before... cozy little place, friendly people. I was there with Keith to see Kate Gaffney, another one I like to give props to. ;)

Hey Jerry, any chance you'd be interested in seeing Cabinet at the River Street Jazz Cafe in Wilkes-Barre tomorrow night? I caught them there once before and thoroughly enjoyed their show... jammin bluegrass, amazing musicians, tight band. I'd really like to see them again, but only if I'd have somebody to hang with there. Keith is iffy that night.

I won't be able to go to Wilkes Barre. I'll be out of town.

Jim Weider will be in Philadelphia with his band Project Percolator on August 7th. I highly recommend checking out this band!
