I was at the Ultra show. AWESOME! Then got to catch the Sat night of Portage recently. Also really good although I hear Fri was a bit better.

Summer Camp 2010 was great despite it being a daytime set, The sets Wakarusa 2011 were probably the best I've seen and the 3 or so Sunrise set at Bonnaroo 2011 completely blew my mind, not many bands can keep me up if I'm tired but they kept me on the floor till sunrise even though I just got done being front row center for Cheese. If they lost it '09, they got a tip as to where it was in '10, and found the guy who stole it and kicked his ass repeatedly in '11. Haha

LOL, well put! I was a STS9 die hard from 06-09 then they kinda let me down a bit. Predictable shows and sets, not enough playing of their older songs, weren't improving or jamming as much as I would like. Now having seen them since Murph's return I can honestly say they seem rejuvenated and they are slowly starting to become my favorite band again. Lets hope they keep it up!

15 minute long Rent at Bonnazoo was fucking amazing... Wish I had income so I could buy the SBD, I went with the first waka set due to the super sexy shakedown street.

the run Dec 27 thru 31st.. First and last night were the best.
I have listened to all of the first night and its old school STS9
great big energy. no longggg jams but some good solid intensity..
no complaints.
