Hi! We're looking for a bassist who is able to practice and play shows regularly. We play an eclectic mix of originals and covers: Zeppelin, Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, King Crimson, Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead to Hendrix, Hawkwind, Husker Du, Sonic Youth, Replacements, Pixies, Cracker, Blind Melon, Doors, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, early REM, Talking Heads to modern (Cage the Elephant, My Morning Jacket) to funky (The Meters, Col. Hampton), old blues (Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon), jazz (Coltrain, Brubeck) and country (Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash). We go as the music takes us and adapt our sets to the venues and crowds we play to. We do a lot of improv. We have lots of original music as well. We have shows coming up, so you'll need to be a quick learner. Right now, we're practicing three to four times a week. As we start gigging, we will be practicing less and playing more. We're looking for enthusiasm, experience, originality, own gear, own transportation, availability, a desire to succeed and someone who can start immediately (as in this week). We're not looking for ego trips or drama. Gender, Race, Age unimportant (as long as you're over 21). If you're interested, hit us up and, if you have a link to some of your work, please send it along. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
