Gentlemen,
I realize that you are tired. I realize that you may feel frustrated that you are not writing songs that are Radiators material like you once did. I realize that it can get boring playing the same songs that seem to get slower every time that I see you over and over. But, do you have to break up?
How about a smaller show schedule? How about a vacation? How about a challenging musical costume? How about quitting a drug? How about starting a drug? How about anything but breaking up?

right on Jazzfester, this is really terrible news :(, I understand that they've had such a long, extensive touring schedule over the years, but why don't they just take a temporary hiatus? I hope to be able to catch one of the new years shows at Palombaro Club, legendary are the Radiators!!

Best live bar band anywhere? Ed is leaving the group, doubt the guys will continue on in the same format. Enjoy the last tour, Jazzfest should be very special.

So glad i got to see them about 5 years ago, they are a great piece of Americana, the kind of band that does not come around often, these guys were torchbearers for their craft.
Wish you guys the best, now i just have to track you down on this last tour and pay my respects to the Rads!

So sad to see them go. I saw them at a festival many years ago, and while we were waiting for the band to come on, Camile walked into the crowd and started heckling his own band to come out and start the show. It was such a funny experience and I'll never forget it.

Nothing but respect for the Radiators and there music, but its possible they just need some time away from eachother. Perhaps I'm reading into the statment too much, but it doesn't seem like the friendliest parting of ways.

Sad news. These guys are fine musicians who put on a great show. Always enjoyed seeing them even though they were not usually the main attraction.

Legends. Always left it on the stage. Enjoy retirement gentlemen and thanks for gracing MPLS with your presence every Halloween. There will be a void in the music scene every late OCT.

After June, the band will be a member down. They will then decide if the remaining band members will continue or end it. We will know more after June. Hopefully before that! And hopefully continue!

Badgerboy. I assume that maybe you live in Wisconsin. I lived in Milwaukee for just over a year in 1998 and I saw the Rads several times at Shank Hall and at Summerfest, they will probably swing by that way one more time. A lot of bands can take notes from the Rads, especially in terms of set breaks. They do take them occasionally, however, they are not longer than the first set and most of the time they just play for 3 straight hours without a break. These last shows are going to be memorable.
