I think their cover of "heart it races" is one of the best songs EVER! I like the new stuff a lot.

one of the few "indie" bands that deserves every bit of praise they get.

These guys are amazing. Loved every album. Closest thing to a modern day Beatles.

One of the most trustworthy bands out there these days. Never a let down live or on record. Shame, Shame took a little longer to get into than the last three but might be as good as all of them. Where Does The Time Go? and Jackie Wants a Black Eye are amazing songs.

I saw them last Oct. at a Post-Show party during ACL at The Parish on 6th St. in Austin. Tiny bar...very cool. We were originally supposed to see The Ravonette's, but they cancelled (visa issues). So, was expecting a pretty heavy, rocking show. Dr Dog was the "back-up" band...they were fun for a while...but after awhile they didn't quite have the energy I wanted...too slow...too mellow. I look forward to seeing them again...in a small venue...see where my head is at...give 'em another try.
