funkymtn... I could not agree more... I've stopped looking at them because it's such a pain in the ass... all I could think is that they make more money with more clicks... it's too bad because the photos almost always rock... PLEASE DO AWAY WITH THE CRAPPY DESIGN JAMBASE!!!!!

But to be honest all you have to do is click on an image and follow the arrows on the left and right, not too difficult. I did like the way jambase post past galleries but really folks this is not that difficult view?

rivertrance2 is right, it's not that difficult guys. And this was a badass MerleFest. I just wish they'd sell alcohol (or let you bring your own)......just saying.

How is Doc holding out? I just love the fact that Steve Martin Can chill on the Banjo.

Doc has slowed down now on the guitar, but his voice is still a rich baritone. He talks to the audience between each song and smiles often. I'd say Doc is doing remarkably well for a man his age. His love for his deceased son and music partner Merle is always evident. Several years ago a new section of US Hwy 421 in Boone was to be dedicated (designated?) to Doc by the DOT. He would not accept the designation without Merle's name also on it. So I now live near the "Doc and Merle Watson Highway."
