meriweather is sketch i gotta second that, ive never had trouble there and you wont have trouble there if youre pretty smart (like at most places). however, a lot of ppl do get hassled there and there were cops EVERYWHERE including in the skies.

Last year was my frist trip to MPP. I went to Hartford the night before(ICCULUS!!) and drove all day to get down there. What a let down. You cant really see shit from the lawn at MPP. The setlist was just alright and compared to Hartford the night before was junk. And i noticed all these plain close cops that looked so out of place it was hilarious with their rip-tight stonewashed jeans, rip-tight tucked in wifebeater and flowing gold chains. I mean, if youre paying attention you can tell who's who and what't what. Honestly tho, it was more comedic for me than anything else.

I am not saying MPP is THE greatest venue, but I'm saying you gotta accept the good with the bad. I have no idea what the deal is with the bathrooms that you're talking about. I used them right before the show last year and didn't have to trudge through any 2 inches of fecal matter. I have to admit that due the sheer size of the venue it might be difficult to get a good view of the stage. You can always get in early and grab some prime real estate. I pity the people who can't distinguish the undercovers in plain "CLOTHES" (Old No. 7). They stick out like sore thumbs. Anyways, I don't need to defend the fact that one of my favorite bands is doing two nights in my home state and I'm willing to take what comes along with the territory to enjoy it. So to all the haters MD don't need ya. Fear the Turtle Bitches!
