went to the one in 2004...still one of the best things ive seen live came from that day...from right to left: eric clapton, bb king, jimmy vaughan, buddy guy, and john mayer (he's actually a good performer when he's not singing) all doing great blues jams together...and they were not the only things of the day...so many good guitar players in one spot throughout the day...fun times

uh $100 for that lineup is deal. Go listen to your hipster nonsense music. Leave the real music to the adults. I laughed at the idea of complaining about paying $100 to see all that in one place. The festival will be better without you there.

That line-up is insane... I saw Winwood with Clapton last year, about $100... great seats and an amazing show...

wow, that's an insane line-up. there's no way you can complain about 100 bucks with all those legends on the roster.

No offense to you Deadheads but I have to ask PhishermanTIM, did you spend $100 to see that "Dead" show a year ago? That vs. this is like day vs. night... up to you to decide which one is bettter I guess... but the list of performers at this show is incredible...

dude, most normal shows (at least in the Chicagoland area) run between $25-$65 a ticket depending on who your seeing. With this lineup, $100 is DIRT CHEAP for this thing. And yes, I actually paid $100 each for 2 tix to the Dead this past spring, and although I had a great time, I'm sure Crossroads will surpass it.

If this is the same as last year, this event is held at the Chicago Fire soccer stadium on the field. One stage. I was really tired that day, so during John McLaughlin's set, I just laid back and totally fell into a crazy light sleep as John went wild.
I promise you this is worth $100. These are legendary musicians who are masters at the craft we nostalgically wish we were still so passionate about - the guitar.
And...the Allmans. I'd pay $100 to see just the Allmans for 30 minutes.
Eric leaves the romance at the door and comes out with the hugest guitar-playing you could ever want to see.
In my opinion, this is more worthwhile than most of the fests this year or any year. Crossroads is real.
