I hope this time around they bring back more of the jazz/funk and the bluegrass into their jams and setlists, and less of the psychedelic techno crap

@florentinepogen The band never cut their bluegrass, worldbeat, funk fusion style out of their playing. All they did was continue to add new, progressive and relevant styles to their arsenal. If you can't get down to any of the electronic house stuff they put out, then I guess one of their most epic fusion jams, Rivertrance, is lost on you.

I do not want to argue the merits/pitfalls of this influential band, because the SCI community is based upon true love for the eclectic nature of the band and an overwhelming sense of family that makes the band, their music and The Pirates the most pure, and wholesome phenomenon in modern music.
