WTF? East Lansing, MI? Duluth, MN? These Midwest dates look more like a Sarah Palin book tour than concert schedule.

Wow - interesting comments on here. It's pretty funny how "jamband" fans criticize them for "not being jammy" and "indie rock/alt country" fans criticize them for being "too jammy"

Bottom line - these guys know how to write great songs, record them in interesting ways, perform them in alternatively interesting ways, mix up their setlists on multiple night runs, and play extended instrumental/noise solos.

Call them what you will, but I will call them greatness.

Oh, and LMAO at the "heady" definitions...great stuff.

I'm intrigued by this "heady wine" mentioned in the Merriam-Webster definition. If anyone knows where I can find a bottle of it, hit me up.

Nice comments thesloth29, but I must be missing something. Did some "indie rock/alt country fan" in this thread post a criticism of Wilco being "too jammy?" I don't see it.

...and yeah, I had a few sips of "heady wine," could that be the problem?

rainydayman: no one in this thread called them "too jammy" but i hear it all the time from the indie-rock faithfuls...i have some friends that won't listen to anything past Yankee Hotel Foxtrot...some people can't handle change, and that is a big mistake if you are a Wilco fan and want to remain a Wilco fan.

Thanks thesloth29. I was afraid it really was the heady wine.

Personally, I dig their live jammy stuff.

I really am a bigger fan of their pajammy stuff.

I don't know if I should be slapped for that. I probably deserve it.
