no janover = not as cool.... nothin against Kyle.... but this should still be cool just because you cant go wrong with that kind of talent on one stage... but this should appeal to the more jamband friendly (Kimock/SCI Kyle) but with a funky, electronic twist coming from eoto....

Kimock with this group could be interesting though...

Clever band. Kimock knows how to control an improv group just thrown together. I can't wait to hear some licks thrown down by Kimock behind the percussion greatness of SCI holding the rhythm. Kyle will help with the singing.....

I doubt ANYONE will sing at all, though I can tell you one thing I learned from my 137 cheese shows attended- KYLE is, at the least, TIED for the best keys player on the scene. Fo sho'

Love the band name so much, they are gonna be amazing all on stage together, and galactic I totally agree with ur statement that Kyle is the best keys player on the scene besides Mr. Medeski and McConnel

will Travis actually play the drums, or is this EOTO & Friends?

Come on people-

Kyle is awesome but how about Robert Walter, Neal Evans, Ivan Neville, Marco Benevento and others. Kyle may be in the top 50, but top 2- please.

paulthewolf- I'll take Kyle over all those guys. I like all of them & seen them all alot, plus Richie from Galactic, Page, on and on and on... but I think Kyle showcases a broader range of mind-blowing talents, and uses intricate jazz training in the styles of Hancock, Corea, Zawinul, and so on. I am a huge jazz piano freak- Shit, I'm skipping Furthur to see McCoy Tyner at Yoshi's this NYE, & I think Kyle is the shit. Of the guys you mentioned (all of whom I FUCKING LOVE) I'd have to say that Marco has the brightest future, but he's still got a way to go. I'd STILL take Ahmad Jamal over all of 'em...

I'd imagine Travis won't play a ton of drums, probably percussion & let Jason take the kit as there's no Bass player for this band. My guess is Travis will loop bass lines with his bass, keys, & puter, & jump off for some djembe & conga playin', So, yeah, I guess this IS EOTO & Pals...
