The KISS spectacle returns in all its glory. Face paint, fire, blood, sex and loud rock...

I saw KISS on Halloween in New Orleans and it was fun. Nothing amazing though. It was definitely a spectacle like the writer said. The music took second place to the theatrics side of the show. Which I realize is a KISS show but it left me bored after hearing verse>chorus>verse>chorus>guitar solo>bridge>chorus 18 different times. Glad I got to see a legendary band but not worth the ticket price.

Good to see KISS is as big a joke as ever. My dad boo'd them off the stage at a free concert in St. Louis in the 70's about 2 years before they took over the world with legions of tone deaf drones. Ace spit blood and they wore their costumes and it was so bad they only got into the 3rd song of the show. And of course Ace and Peter's replacements played as if they had been jamming those tunes for years---any studio musician could put on the make-up and play the simple music of KISS. "Shout It Out Loud" everyone--KISS blows!

this is an all inclusive website :)

growing up in the hair band generation I am supposed to like kiss.

tears are falling the video on mtv was kinda ok I watched it prolly 25 times.

but compared to motely crue and ac/dc and metallica, they are just boring and I never got into them.. its so strange. mostly because I loved the album by dokken, under lock and key. but I do not like any kiss really.

I've got say that KISS "ALIVE" has one of the grandest intros to a live album..."You wanted the best..."; G'n'R varied it on their live album. As far as over the top, these guys do the hair metal equivalent of what Parliament was creating in the funk scene; a musical and theatrical voyage. I don't think that KISS really translates into the current musical trends, but the comic book origins were unique and loud in the 70s. "Firehouse" off of "ALIVE" is pretty damn rockin.

"No you see, Ronny, the song is about Paul Stanley's dick; his dick is the "Love Gun," and she's gonna get some of his dick."
