Four or five monthes ago nobody believed me when I used the the play on words of "Save the Date" to coinside with Date Festival and with Phish choosing Indio, CA. Now, here we have alot of amazing albums to chose from and I would love to hear Phish preform almost any of them, but if I had to pick one album on the list I would have to pick U2 "The Joshua Tree". Just north of Indio, CA is Joshua Tree National Park. I hope I am wrong. I mean, I like this album. It is not my favorite U2 album (Unforgetable Fire), but after the whole "Save the Date" slide show, I would not be suprised.

Here is my Top Five:

Miles Davis--"Tribute to Jack Johnson

The Clash--"London Calling"

Pink Floyd--"Meddle"

ABB--"Eat A Peach"

Rush--"Moving Pictures"

I drove out to the phestival site today and it is looking sooooooooo lush. We are having a cool front blowing thru right now and we are just a month away. If you don't have your tickets, what are you waiting for?

Kid A! I simply do not think they can do it. There are a lot of good albums on this list. A lot of classics. But Kid A is an album that falls in a completely different category of album. Songs off Kid A are masterpieces, orchestrated, not cover songs. Come on, challenge me, cover Kid A on Halloween.

Kid A is definetly the last thing on this list that I think will not be covered. Completely differant from any stlye Phish has taken on over the decades. I love Phish and I love Radiohead but it just don't seem like it will happen. But if it does, well that will be interesting.

Is anyone else kinda pissed that they are doing this process of elimination thing? I for one was looking forward to being completely surpised on Halloween, not going into 8 knowing exactly what they were gonna play. Even narrowing down to a hundred potential albums is very limiting. That being said I want to see Sailing the Seas of Cheese, but I think it's very doubtful. Probably it'll be something more classic, perhaps Meddle, Led Zeppelin 1, or Sticky Fingers. Whatever goes down though, you can't really go wrong though, right? See you there.

This is such a great idea. I love when the fans can participate.

1. The Clash - "London Calling"

2. Zappa - "Apostrophe"

3. Clapton - "461 Boulevard"

Thats my top 3 that I would love for them to play.
