I just finished "And the Hippos Were Boiled In Their Tanks" Kerouac co wrote w Burroughs and wasnt released until 2008 after one of the main charcters died in real life...great book...This project looks intresting I can only hope it gets people to read his work

man Big Sur has to be one of the most depressing Keruoac novels! The last time he hitchhikes is in there and his alcoholism becomes inSURmountable. I dont know i guess apathy is a theme for the dudes collaborating so maybe it fits well. Cool idea but any real musician already has some Kerouac in them.

if i ever have a baby boy, i shall name my seed japhy ryder. Big Sur isnt all doom and gloom, it might be my favourite chapter, the final chapter of The Duluoz Legend. Kerouac is king, this is awesome i look very much forward to this release.
