i stumbled into this band one night at the field in bridgeport,ct and they are the best group i've seen that i didn't have to pay a cover for. actually i think i would have paid at least 15 bucks to see them...a shred heavy, maniacal, jazz influenced, jam band if there ever was one. check 'em out!

The Breakfast Rocks! I don't like most generic jambands, but I love these guys. They are extremely talented.

The Breakfast are the best kept secret in the jam scene for sure. All four guys are monster players. Do yourself a favor and go check them out. They have some solid shows on Archive, but their energy live is simply out of this world.

HELL to the YES!!! caught my first breakfast (then psychedelic breakfast) show at the met cafe in providence back on february 9th, 2001 and since then i've been to 70+ shows in the last 8+ years all over new england. NEVER have i been disappointed. well... i take that back -- i've been disappointed every damn show when the curfew hits because i want them to play at least 5 more sets!

check out youtube & archive.org and listen to some shows -- you will be adding some tracks to your mp3 player and/or burning CDs shortly thereafter! though, there really is nothing like actually being there. so in that case, get your ass to a live breakfast show!

Hell yeah!

If you feel like checkin em out you gotta peep 2009-08-01 Sully's from archive.

Or if you wanna just cut right to the chase check out Mayfly Disarray from Strange Creek 2009. wtf

Best kept secret indeed.. but I've been seeing them for many years and no joke they're playing better than ever... borderline impossibly so!

The live album's mixed really well, features a couple newer songs and a few classics. But go see a show for chrissake, we'll help you scrape your jaw off the floor when it's time to bounce ;)

I sure wish they could get their shit together to put together an actual tour. All four of them on tour, which doesn't happen outside of the northeast right now. Although I believe they signed new management not too long ago, so hopefully that will help. I only say this because I think this band is absolutely incredible. After you download this album and need more, I'd highly recommend the 7/4/09 show on the archive. That show proves that The Breakfast loves America.

I fucking love this band! pumped about this new album and Let It Roll is gonna be a rager... Also keep an eye out for Adrian Tromantano's (The Breakfast's drummer) solo album which will be droppin sometime this fall.

Everyone should get this album and see how awesome these under-the-radar guys really are. Some of the best musicians you will find.

Didn't Tim leave the band at some point? I thought he wasn't in anymore. Hope I am wrong. They were pretty cool, I saw em a few times back when they were still the Psych... Bfast
