Portland welcomes you back!!!!! Last year was soooo much fun at the Alladin, and they always rock the Crystal. Since I'm pretty sure Phish is gonna be in Miami, I know I'll be partying with hometown pride!!!

i love how these guys stretch the boundaries of "bluegrass" one of the few bluegrass bands that are just as loud and energetic and trippy as a rock band. they are great songwriters as well... its not honky tonk moonshine bluegrass

One of the things I miss about living in MD is seeing RRE at the 8x10 and State Theatre in VA several times a year. I wish they would play in Ohio occasionally. One of the best bands around. It's kind of weird that a band from NJ would play in Oregon on NYE but I guess Portland draws some good crowds. And Oregon is definitely more scenic than NJ unless you like chemical factories.

Hey gregboyer, While I would never compare it to OR, the part of NJ that RRE is from is actually quite scenic. Have you seen any of the Garden State from off the Turnpike? Have fun living in Ohio. Hahaha.

Grateful Dread, Ohio ain't bad. Plenty of disc golf courses, decent music scene (Columbus might not draw like Balt/Wash but most bands come through Col. or Cincy). Nelson Ledges is one of the best festy venues around-right up there with Suwannee. Love RRE but most of NJ smells like ass. Toll booths kind of suck too.

Last year at the Alladin was so amazing, I can see why theyre doing it again.IF I could be anywhere for NYE it would be Portland, but funds are so low this year its not an option. However, the SF dates are my savior!!! SOOOO THANKFUL!!! They always ROCK the Fillmore. The best CELTIC BLUEGRASS PSYCHEDELIC ROCK BAND ever!
