tori amos has some good music, but she tends to bore me quickly with the unending seriousness shes always harping about. Sometimes I think she looks hot and then other times I think she might be an alien or some crazy shit, I mean, she just looks like she exists on some other plane and that in her mind its her world and were all just in it...
She just looks like a real trip...

saw Tori in Albany NY in the mid 90's. that was one of the most erotic performances I've ever seen! I'm pretty sure that's the only time I ever wished I was a piano stool too. oh yeah, and she rocked the place too!

Saw her perform 5 years back, with Ben Folds. One of the better live performances I've ever seen. And I'm not a die-hard. She's just VERY talented!

This is a great article and Tori Amos is a superb artist. However, this would have been a bit more relevant had it been published near the album release (over 3 months ago) and even more so if her US tour did not END last week. Still, thanks for the coverage.

I'm a fan, wouldn't ever admit to it on bisco tour or anything though. She can wail, and humps a piano bench better than anyone. There are some jams, so I guess its relevant for here. Highly recommend seeing her in a auditorium or music hall or something of the sort.

I agree with ImTheMan, I find her to be kind of boring and scary. Like she might stab you in her sleep, or like you might stab yourself from having to listen to all of her wackyass feelings all the time. I'll bet her husband is a twitchy dude.
