Hollering, dancing and firewater a-plenty as DM3 send us to the rafters during a hot Stubb's...

1) Your point about OCMS not allowing taping is a stickler for me and has been for a long time. That Stubb's show a few months ago left something to be desired for me. I thought the sound was sub-par that night. The sound guys on-stage seemed a bit frazzled and the band seemed downright pissed.

2) I love the DM3. One of my favorite bands in all the land. I taped the last two shows at Stubb's (2009.06.17 & 2008.08.27) and the show at Lovejoy's during SXSW. Can't wait for their return to the ATX!

AHHH nice! Now we can forgive Jambase for not covering them in the High Sierra article ;) Nice work! enjoyed it.

Saw both their High Sierra sets. I know Blue Turtle Seduction are big fans of this band, so I had to give them two whirls for both sets. They were great. Definitely a style I look for in music. However, they are SOOOO samey, I dont see myself becoming a huge fan of theirs like I am Blue Turtles. Its like one long song. But the song is fucking GREAT.

Its probably because I just got into these guys. Its kind of a Newb syndrome, I think. The more I listen the more their music distinguishes itself. Its also a jam band syndrome I think.....we must realize that not every band is genre bending from song to song. I love this band, though! :) I just downloaded the High Sierra set, cant wait to re live the goods:
