nice one JB!! i think cat stevens is often overlooked as a great singer/songwriter of the '70's, and people are quick to reference his 'cheesier' tunes (peace train, wild world, etc.) without giving credit to the very deep and poignant songs that fill up the majority of his albums. check out 'matthew and son', 'mona bone jakon', and 'tea for the tillerman'.....you won't be disappointed.

So CAt Stevens took the flamming lips to court over a copy right infringement of his song Father And Son, and thier song fight test. The lips swore it was not intentional but when listening to both songs there are distinct similarities. Check it out, Just some Jam F.Y.I. Peace and Hairgrease

Yeah, his roots run pretty deep and so is what he puts through with his words and his guitar. I have "Another Cup" and I've watched the DVD a few times and really enjoy it. Its very peaceful.
