As a Southern and devote PJ fan it pisses me off they ignore my part of the country religiously. They've only run through the deep south once since 2000 and I was immensely hoping that we'd get some love this fall. The only consolation we've been given recently is an Eddie Vedder solo tour and tickets were $85 (with no shows on the Gulf Coast.)
Seriously, how can a band expect to hold on to it's fanbase when they maginalize their listener's level of interaction?
Completely pissed off in New Orleans.
P.S. Enjoy the shows and sorry for the rant.

I can't believe that another tour has come and gone WITH NO SOUTHERN DATES... what is this 1870... can someone really hate this area of the country THAT much. A fan is slowly losing his appreciation for this band. Suck it, Eddie, suck it!

eddie does what he wants. you guys just figured that out? didnt think id be back in the spectrum again since i dont think thats where phish is playing(could be wrong, thought it was rumored the wachovia or whatever though). best thing about it is if i do go i wont have to sit through ben harpers new load of shit band
