The Dead last night was heat! the fireworks during U.S. blues encore was awesome. phil really let loose for the fireworks finale, leading a jam that led into not fade away.

Just got home from Rothbury. Mixed reviews for me.
the good: toubab krewe, keller, the dead, the crowes, sci, the mushrooms, sherwood forest.
the bad: all you frat under 25 douchebags. i now agree with people like mimiluv and deathtonoobs. Noobs stay home. If youre under 25---stay home. if you dont know who the dead are--dont wear a dead shirt and...stay home. for those of you that were shoooting ooff fireworks during the day---youre obnoxious--stay home.
the ugly: kids under 16 with dreads..check that,,,anyone with dreads. youre disgusting and lame.

Very cool selection of Photos, ahh to only have access to a helicopter! Really though, I take shots of live indpendent music as well in the rock clubs around boston http://pa.photoshelter.com/c/viscereview and since I'm typically working with absolutely zero light most of the time, this set of pics has get me all worked up to get out this summer and shoot in real light...event properly lit stages/shows!
Hope all's well on everyone's festival/concert travels so far...feel free to say helo ans check out the pics, especially if your in and around beantown...

dead setlist looks nice...viola lee and morning dew look appetizing. usblues with fireworks, i guess the whole world saw that coming..not fade away after though...fall tour???

from the looks of the photo, I think that is Jason Hann from Cheese with toubab and the dead. wasn't there, but I don't see Travis
