I still think roo is the biggest and most diverse festival out there. However they need to update the look and feel. Each year is the exact same look. I think that's were they really can improve.

Just got home from Rothbury. Mixed reviews for me.

the good: toubab krewe, keller, the dead, the crowes, sci, the mushrooms, sherwood forest.

the bad: all you frat under 25 douchebags. i now agree with people like mimiluv and deathtonoobs. Noobs stay home. If youre under 25---stay home. if you dont know who the dead are--dont wear a dead shirt and...stay home. for those of you that were shoooting ooff fireworks during the day---youre obnoxious--stay home.

the ugly: kids under 16 with dreads..check that,,,anyone with dreads. youre disgusting and lame.

rothbury with cheese...im 20 and was 95% on goin to rothbury until some last minute problems..go fuck yourself and dont stereotype. im also in college, you gonna call me a frat boy for that? fuck you and mimiluv...if it wasnt for kids on the scene it would die..why dont you take some time to set examples for the younger part of the scene rather than bitching like a miserable old man...go sit in your room and fantasize about the merry pranksters while listening to your favorite jerry tape when pen was still alive...you old bum...

im a pretty chill person and stay away from the hard drugs, esp at big events like this..why dont you take the time to meet some of the younger kids. some of us are pretty damn smart and insightful...not everyone is in it for the party scene

RothburyWithCheese, you're entitled to your opinion, but I'm just as entitled to completely disagree with you and be just a teeny bit embarrassed to associate with this website if the rest of you agree with him/her.

An age limit on music appreciation? Get the fuck outta here. I'm not the king of music, but I've been listening to the Dead, Bob Marley, Dylan, R.E.M., etc. since I was in 4th grade. I'm 21 now. I can go to whatever music festivals and events I'd like to. So can the 16, 17, and 18 year olds. So can the 5 year olds. Leave the kids alone. If they are douchebags, they are douchebags. I've met a lot of douchebags who were 40 years old. Let everyone have their fun if they're not hurting anyone. And to conclude with a snarky remark, there are a lot of 20-24 year olds who would kick your ass if you to keep them from a festival. I say, anyone who can kick your ass is allowed to be at a festival. Anyone who can't kick your ass won't cause you any problems.

I hope the pre-teens, teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior citizens all had a blast at Rothbury and were rejuvenated by the brilliant festival that it seemed to be.

glad i didn't go with rothburywithcheese to rothbury you sound like a real party pooper. i know quiet a few kids under 25 that are not in a frat and definately are more into the dead than you will probably ever be. pretty sad that someone shooting fireworks off in the middle of the day puts a damper on your weekend. and as far as anyone with dreads being disgusting and lame, you are the one that paid a shit load of money to go to a JAM BAND FESTIVAL... that's right a JAM BAND FESTIVAL. obviously you are the noob that has never been to a festival before b/c if you have you would realize all the things you complain about are simply what happens at festivals. how about you stay home and jack your dad off in the shower while your mom eats your ass out instead of trying to control everyone else's good time. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaambulance
