Omar Rodriguez Lopez: New Album

Omar seriously does not slow down. new volta just released and now this? the man is a machine, an extremely talented and visionary one at that, and I hope he continues at this pace.

AMAZING! Dude keeps on cranking them out...and amazing records at that. Single handidly (with the help from some other amazing musicians), Omar is making up for the other 99% of garbage out there in the music industry. Cryptomnesia was incredibly, as is Octahedron. I have high hopes for an album with all spanish vocals.

SERIOUSLY! Omar is now the hardest working man in show business, or at least the most productive.

the guy is a great player he has inspired me a lot in the ways of making crazy noises into music. he reminds me a lot of mike einziger's crazier moments, who at this point deserves to be in a much cooler band than what incubus has become. maybe he and omar could start a supergroup, that'd be tits.

saw the volta when they opened for the chili peppers a few years back and i could tell they were playing fine but the sound mix as a whole was just awful. people were covering their ears and throwing things it was lame.. so i hope to see this dude perform again sometime.
