Yes/Asia: Only Time Will Tell
As a new joint U.S. tour kicks off for these prog-pop giants, we chat at length with Yes' Alan White and Asia's Geoff Downes as well as legendary drummer Carl Palmer...

Nice interviews. Glad to see some love for Yes, my favorite band. My lady and I are going to KC for this show to celebrate my 23rd. Can't friggin wait!

siberian khatru! yes and rush have done more to influence the "jam scene" than people know.

deadpig (pork?), i think you meant to type "you know how i know (you're) gay". you can't even spell one insult sentence correctly? it's really not that hard. are you 12 years old? go listen to the jonas brothers.

I think he's just quoting 40 year old virgin because Steve Carrell was a big Asia fan in that movie.

stoweisker and deadpig come on dudes, can't we all just smoke a bong? great piece Dennis, as usual!!! I sometimes can't believe you get to talk to all of these folks, some heroes of mine for longer than most of these Jambasers have been alive!!! anyway keep on rockin' it Dennis. I'd go to the Warfield show on Friday except there is a fine Mushroom show over in Berkeley at the Plough!! and 09-79 makes you almost 30, or 30, deadpig. you ain't foolin no body! YES!!! ASIA!!!

agreed, i get defensive about my rush/yes fandom (and the comment seemed like a slight on that for someone who's not intimate with 40 yr old virgin). smoking a bong is always a good idea. cheers.

Yes/Asia was great at the Warfield last night. Howe was masterful on guitar in both bands, and Palmer proved why he is one of the greatest drummers ever. The new singer in Yes did a great job, what a voice! He's not a Jon Anderson, but pretty darn close. Yes had a great set too, so many great tunes. Catch this when it comes to your town, you won't be disappointed.

Sorry, it's just not Yes without Jon Anderson!

Jon Anderson is too preoccupied with mastering the elements.
