Not the point. Celebrating someone's life that has has harmed so many people's life is wrong please think about that. Sorry that I dissed pop some of my favortie bvands you listed. Far from the point. My girlriend was molestated and I have to wake up to yelling please get him of me. So if this is just a small part you have know idea. I hope that this does not happen to anyone you know.

But you've listened to these songs right? Those "Off the Wall" tracks - and shit, all of 'em really, are so banging, so funky, that is some of the best shit ever. I'm remembering Michael the musician - the artist - the King of Pop!

These are all good and fine points, clearly he had inappropriate relationships with kids (at best), just dangling your kid out a window is grounds enough. and i don't think anyone condones, nor can even stomach the thought of hurting a child, but i don't know Jackson, i don't have any proof...

Shit, that's not the point – if I based my music on the people making it I’d be fucked… if you can't get off the wall w/ this shit then like i said before, i just feel bad for you.

Can hold your opinion I just think the actual evidence against him was weak rumors speculation and people using that he was a freak to get money from him. I'm sure we would be surprised what celebs do that we don't know about. Look at the allegations against Mike Gordon,Pete townshend. Are we so quick to judge them. I think not because they come across as normal guys. Not a freak

^Fact: He admitted to sharing beds with children. My speculation: He had Multiple Personality Disorder and his front personality really believed he didn't molest those kids. Pederasts should not be celebrated as heroes regardless of what they contributed to the world. I have no problem celebrating his music however. BIG difference.

Jesus Christ Porter, shut the fuck up. If this is about music like you stated above, then stop talking about him being an accused pederass, not proven. Mike Gordon was accused of some similar shit wasn't he? The fact of the matter is that he made music that changed the music world forever. Yes, he was completely twisted I agree, but god damn, he gave us the moonwalk and thriller amoungst other greats. I am not mourning him, but he desrves respect on a musical level.

Some of these comments(some!) R very stupid....1st of all, i bet @ least 98% of tha bands that u love have in some way been influenced by and/or inspired by Michael Jackson ...not excusing what he may or may not have done ....the man devoted his life to entertaining us !!! & entertain us he DID...even though it cost him a normal childhood & his privacy !!! dont judge unless u have experience being literally the most famous & most scrutinized person in the world!!
