i was lucky to get vibed into buying God loves Ugly
i was still breaking out of my pop rap highschool days
and this was a refreshing sound with lyrics that were actually relatable
moreso than the escape to a hardcore land of violence and a form of fear my pale ass would never know that came from the rap cd's that "bumped" in my buddy's trunck
i lost the vibe for beats and rhymes and got into mandos and banjos
but that track embedded in the article really intrigues me to yet again get over my stigmas and give hip hop another chance
atmosphere is prolly the place to start...
