Ummm...to me d'Elf is one of the most criminally neglected collectives in the US, and hell even the world. Nobody jams or grooves quite like these guys do. PLus the setting is always different. It's always a different lineup and a different vibe. These guys understand the voodoo of improvisation, and the potential magic of a pick-up jam. Micro is a genious and his cast of characters is untouchable.

Agreed, SERIOUSLY neglected outfit! Now I Understand is one of my favorite albums.... For whatever reason people are really sleeping on D'elf!

Boston Legends! If you ever swing through Boston, stop by Matt Murphy's. A lot of Club D'Elf sit ins and sweet jazz jam groups and ska dance bands like Void Union and the B3 Kings. Listen to Club D'Elf and support local music!

i saw Club D'elf in cambridge, MA at the Lizard Lounge back in November. They were playing with David Bowie's former guitarist. These guys are not to be missed!

Glad to see Club D'elf getting some respect on Jambase. Monster Players for sure and Rivard is the man. Would love to see them get out more/be noticed outside of boston, they certainly have the chops
