This dude definitely under-rated the show. This was my first phish show and it was absolutely epic. Walking back to my car I heard countless veterans saying that it was the best 2nd set of the whole tour so far. However he did get the harry hood right, I heard many say it was the best version of harry hood they had ever heard and even went as far to say it was the best song they had ever heard by phish. Dont let this tired out journalist who wants to get home undermind an incredible show

I like your reviews, dude. You are clearly an oldschool fan that understands the many nuances of Phish, unlike many of the phans that like EVERYTHING they do. People...it is okay to be critical about things you love. Life would be pretty boring otherwise...

Great review, thanks! For the dude above who's first show it was, know your role and cut the dude some slack.

oh i alsmot forgot, MIMILUV is still the biggest fucktard on the planet...new jambase poll shows mimiluv ranking #1 biggest headier than thou douchebag tour vet ever. Congrats mimiluv, you've won a lifetime backstage pass for the allman brothers and eric clapton/steve winwood. This isn't really an award per say but rather the entire phish community saying "fuck off!"

Just got back from PA, and I can agree that this was a great show. I actually enjoyed the fisrt set a bit more than the second because of the unique and rocking trio of Wilson, Tube, and Bowie that ended it. The second set started hard with a nice DWD, Free, and Guyute, but then I think the show lost a little energy during the outro of Piper that didn't really pick up for me again until the middle of Hood. The Squirming Coil (one of my favorites) is always nice, but I would have like to heard something more playful sandwiched in between Hood and YEM. The end of YEM brought on some of the hardest dancing of the show and the encore made me laugh harder than ever. What actually happened was, Page blew the wrong tuning note to begin Grind, so the band sang it out of key. Also, Trey was having trouble remembering the number of days each of them were alive, so he appeared to be reading them off a cheat sheet he had written on his hand. The boys were so amused by these mistakes that they couldn't even sing three notes of Hello My Baby before cracking up laughing. This led to Fish strugling through a hilarious Bike as retribution to the crowd for botching the a cappella tunes. Loving Cup ended the the show perfectly and had all of us singing "What a beautiful buzz?" as we walked away from another amazing experience with the world's greatest rock band...Phish.

he was right about people not even able to give away tickets on the way in. i saw countless people with extra tickets on my walk in, "any amount of money for a ticket!" i was really surprised- maybe they won't sell out in 2 minutes now and then have people paying twice face value on the ebay and other sites for a ticket, show was really enjoyable- encore had everyone laughing, camden is still my favorite of this tour though

The show sucked. It was a show for the noobs (I don't often use that term, but it is necessary), and older fans that prefer the old cutesy songs and that trademark Phish schtick, as opposed to jamming. This show was for fans who had no need to be challenged with new songs or improvisational risks.
