A much better review than the last. I especially liked that he used actual music terminology and talked about key signatures. Wow somebody that actually knows music writing about it. What a novel concept.

i dunno i ve been to 6 shows and i really havnt been blown away at any of them, they have their moments, but thats about it. its like the first set will be great then the second sucks or reverse. these shows are only for newbs, the ones who get excited when they play undermine , bouncin, and 18 minute TTE. went to all the east coast shows, and had a great time, but mostly because of friends. saw clapton last night with winwood, better then any phish show ive seen since 2000. have fun on the rest of the tour kids, hope the shows get better

I have no interest in seeing the band in 2009. With that said, I've been very interested in seeing the setlists, pictures, and some fan reviews. I'm convinced that MimiLuv hasn't gone to any shows. This guy/gal uses the same template to post crap about every gig. MimiLuv is like WarmCarl but dumb. Just sayin' it like I read it. Dude, you didn't go to last night's show. If Phish teaches you one thing, it should be diversity of opinion and thought. I have never, ever seen someone give a fanbase such a fruitless pecking order to a rock group. So long mimiluv, I hope watching sixty-five year old men playing pentatonic scales gets you your rocks off.

The boys were on fire for this one! The review pretty much nailed it. I was extremely surprised to hear Squirming Coil and Character Zero after Weekapaug and then Cavern and Harry Hood after Julius! Waves into Song I Heard the Ocean Sing was surprisingly great, then David Bowie after it was just insane. Other hightlights were Punch You In The Eye, Foam, Mike's Song>Hydrogen>Weekapaug, Squirming Coil, Reba, Julius, Cavern, Frankenstein (I know that's too many highlights, but whatever, they were nasty). They sounded extremely tight in my opinion, the crowd energy was incredible, the light show was sick, and I have to say I after going to night 3 of Hampton (which was pure madness) and with this show being in Knoxville and right before the Roo, I thought it would be average at best, but they brought the heat!!

I think Mimiluv is actually Phish posting trying to get people off tour, so their crowds aren't so big, and the impact is not so negative within the various communities. It has to be... could there actually be someone so stupid as to go to six shows that they didn't like? This show was sick nasty!! Reba and Hood jam were so tight and elogant. And first set with MIkes Song>I am HYdrogen>Squirming coil> Character zero....NICE!!!!

sounds like asheville and knoxville were the best of the tour so far. i was in hapton (sat. night). had fun, but not the best. sounds like they are really getting warmed up now. Bonnaroo will probably be so-so, late night set could be the shit though. red rocks will kick ass. can't wait for darien lake. pheenin' some phish.

Excellent photos Dave. Man, Kuroda's performances may be better than the bands. That is just sick. Keep up the good work; i'm saving a new one as my background every show. I can't make Alpine Valley, but I sure hope to catch their next midwestern tour. Mimiluv is a tool :-0
