i like the new album. lying in the hands of god. seven. why i am. all are really good songs. hands of god is one of the better songs the band has ever written, i think. and i think the songs will only improve over the years whereas songs from their last two albums didnt have the room to grow. it shows how important it is to have everyone involved in writing a song. tim needs to stick around for good, now. i cant imagine hearing these songs live without him.

I really like the idea of this album. i have only heard funny the way it is, spaceman and why i am but at least they were live. I would have to say that no dave album can touch under the table and dreaming but i think it will blow stand up out of the water....that has blood in it...so dont drink it.

best album since BTCS. Shake Me Like A Monkey will be a monster live, and Time Bomb is sick. Why I Am and Spaceman are both really good as well. Shit...I think the whole album is great with the exception of Funny The Way It Is...which could still improve live I think. Carter's drumming on this album is insane! I think it's safe to say that DMB is back!

Why do people still cover Dave Craphews? I throw up every time I see his name mentioned in print. Doesn't anyone understand that Dave is just a way for middle age has been men to pickup confused co-ed chicks? It should be considered poaching.

Its a wicked album so far, Im up to Spaceman and im not disappointed at all. Its got soul to it that stand up was seriously lacking. Dave definitely got in touch with his roots for this one, great tribute to leroi
Toeknee420, youre part of the problem bud. If youre going to comment, comment on the music not what you perceive to be the "scene".

I'm surprised that Live Nation isn't going to play it over the loudspeakers in every venue across the country, during Phish tour.

Good call Phumphish.... All the haters, it seems, is about the scene rather than the music. DMb can hold there own and have proved that summer after summer since 1994!!!! Amazing album btw. Dave's writing is back to his A game!!! Such a good time to be a fan right now and so optimistic for the future of this band. Job well done boys. Best Album in a Decade!!!
