hey kirkbrew. a lot of people didnt get/still dont get jackson pollacks paintings but it is priceless art.

While kirkbrew may be a little harsh in saying the Dolls suck, I think that considering their music or any music, art, is very subjective and cliche. Music and art, while not mutually exclusive, are two different forms. I think that people need to stop placing such great value on the "art" aspect and get back to real, honest music. If you base how much you like a band's MUSIC, on their portrayal of ART or image/fashion/attitude/antics then it is safe to say the MUSIC is lacking.

they should just call it The Dolls like The Dead, both bands burying the most essential memeber way too soon... from similar consequences too

this was a cool article but unfortunately the dolls are horrendously bad and most of the people that like them that i know at least are grossly emo with the dolls being the pinnacle of their musical catalogs. the difference between the dolls and the dead is the dead is amazing and the dolls are just there to make bands like the dead look even better based on how horrific they (the dolls) are.

If there was NO dolls then the Ramones would not have been what they were. AND the Ramones changed some shit in rock. Damn near everyband that uses guitars after the Ramones hit gives them credit.
