I know one thing. They are playing with Moon Taxi in Birmingham on July 23rd. It is going to be one bad ass show. FOR SURE.

pimpgeorge, I was thinkin the same thing on both counts. That cover of "The Shape I'm In" rips hard. If it wasn't for this AWFUL comment system you would probably be able to see my reply. Can't wait to kick off festie season with Warren next week at Mountain Jam. Hope to see many good faces there and I wish Warren the best with any endeavor he attempts because it is almost guaranteed to be awesome.

This sounds great, always liked the Texas ZZTop sound and I'm anxious to see how it melds with the Mule. I hope they play some of this at Wanee. Crowesfan-great idea on "Spanish Moon" with Little Feat. When I saw ABB w/Feat back in 1991 (13th row-still have stub) they played with both whole bands for a few songs in each set and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. 420maker you are a fucking idiot. Warren is the spark plug in the current Dead and he and Derek have injected new life into ABB. But as Mimiluv said, he is at his best with the Mule. Wanee Disc Golf tournament and Rads kickoff party next Thursday!
