I've been listening to music for like 25 years, and this may be the best band I've ever heard. They somehow blend my love of the Beatles, Beach Boys, Wilco, Flaming Lips, etc etc into something that is so uniquely their own.
The are a band that, to me, is the most comfortable in their skin as any band. They are weird, they are cool, they write amazing songs. The true vanguard of modern psychedelic rock.
They've been doing it for 15 years - I would love to see them get more recognition. How about a review on Jam Base of their new one? "Dark Days/Light Years", like most of their records, has received universal critical acclaim.
