Sure looking that way....especially considering that the polls at this point are usually very accurate...Oct 18 of 2004, Bush held a 8 point lead in the polls and they held very trur....I wouldn't be surprised if Obama ended up with over 350 Electorals....The GOP is extremely desperate, and has called Obama every name in the book (Muslim, Terrorist, Socialist, Marxist, Racist) and all it does is pushes people away....I just cannot wait until these racist white trash hicks have to acknowledge Obama as their President.

i would love nothing more than seeing this race be close and mccain win by whatever amount, then the media and all the freaking people that have annoited the holy one can shut up and start whining about how the elction was stolen....the media had gore winning, yet he didn't....the media had kerry winning, yet he didn't.....you guys that are so fucking SURE of yourself, i hope you have to eat it.....we are all expecting barrack to win, the media always sets it up that way....so come election day i have nothing to lose and can only be pleasantly surprised if mccain wins....and if he loses, that's what i was expecting......you guys on the other hand will be SO devasted if obama loses...and i'd love to see that....the media has set you up to take a BIG fall

Gore and Kerry did win! Everyone knows Gore won, but Kerry also did and it did not get as much media attention. Bush stole and cheeted to get into office, hopefully McCain will not be able to do the same.

that is a view probably obtained from the liberal media bias....have you heard the other side?.....how the florida supreme court was just making up laws as they went and THAT'S why the US supreme court got involved and said you can't do that.....and kerry, i don't know or care...he was/is a putz and they recounted ohio (right?) umpteen times and everytime kerry came up short....how is that a controversy?

.

i will go on with my life whoever wins and make some finacial decisions accordingly.....you guys on the other hand seem to have so much "hope" wrapped up in this that you are going to be absolutely devastated if obama loses....i'm sorry if you don't see that your life has much more to do with what YOU do with it than who gets elected in any office

Apparently the third re-count in Ohio had Kerry winning, and there is ample evidence of voter fraud in Ohio in 2004. The Gore 2000 vote isn't worth talking about because it is practically fact that Gore won Florida but he resigned giving Bush the win before that was known. In my opinion the supreme court shouldn't have gotten involved because Gone had won hands down.

The only reason I care so much about the presidential election is because of what I have seen Bush do in the last 8 years. Many people said Bush would be terrible and others said how can you know. Then in the last 8 years he has over spent, screwed our schools over, and has gotten us into mismanaged wars to mention a few things. To think Bush hasn't affected my life in the last 8 years would be incorrect. So, I don't think Obama will save everyone, but at least I think he won't fuck everyone over, and will try to help people.

Actually, in '04, Bush led by about 8 points in the polls in mid October.

cool, i was unaware (or didn't recall that)...what i recalled was the media saying kerry was going to win, i don't recall the actual polls.....but there MUST have been polls saying kerry was going to win (i guess) because i know FOR SURE that i recall the media saying bush was going to lose (and they must have had to have some polls to support that)....then again, maybe it was just a biased media trying to suppress west coast turnout of republicans

You seem like a pretty good person yourself Mica. We just have very different views on how to fix the situation we are in, and the direction the US should take in the future.

you can not listen to most polls, the results are skewed and that is what the media and Obama weant you to think, landslide

i think the only thing proven here is polls are unreliable. the biggest indicator that obama has a lead is the # of newly register democrat voters.
