I was agreeing with Lord on the whole abortion issue by saying that sometimes killing is for the greater good, then he came in with this whole Hitler comment.

I'm a little confused. Lord, are you for or against abortion rights?

I wouldn't call it murder. Shoot, there are some killing of aged people, as opposed to developing people (fetuses), that I don't see as "murder."

There is killing, and there is murder. There is a difference to me.

I am a liberal and an atheist and even I think prayer *did* have a place in schools. I never had a problem with it.

No one was ever forced to pray, and no one cared who you prayed to. It's secular relax and focus time.

The next thing you know, fundamental atheist extremists are going to demand that we work and go to school on Sunday because otherwise we're being forced to be Christian!

My point is that prayer days were NOT subjecting students to Christian beliefs. Therefore they were NOT unconstitutional, in my opinion. In most instances, in school "prayers" were moments of silence. There is nothing wrong with that.

I like football way too much to be religious enough to go to church
