In Los Angeles large home imporovement store must accommodate "day workers" as required by a new law.

I find it baffeling how much or country caters to people that came to this country illegally, are working in this country illegally, have no plans to assimilate to American culture and have no plans to contributing to this country.

california and it's pretenda-lawmakers are a big part of the problem, as are sanctuary cities across the u.s. the overarching sovereignty issues that need fixing are still not a priority to federal lawmakers. hardline conservatives like paul and tancredo have given us blueprints to solving the immigration crisis but majorities of federal democrats and republicans are content with the status quo. the dems hide behind a veil of moral indignation but actually seek a permanent long term constituency via amnesty, while republicans look the other way to recruit a long term work force for small business.

while walls have been approved but not funded, the real solution will be to hold accountable those who hire illigal aliens. the more severe the penalties(criminal/civil), the less likely potential employers will be to exploit this underclass. when the jobs dry up, illegals will stop coming.

instead of mandating that employers use e-file to verify legal american working status, the senate recently allowed a version of the omnibus bill that overlooks the importance of this very useful tool. as a result, the recovery act, that obama claims is to help put americans back to work, will most likely put numerous illegal aliens to work. if this senate and president were perfect in every other way(& they're not even close), this would be enough for me to want to vote them out. 2010 can't come soon enough!

Your point is that just because they work they should be accomodated for even though they illegally snuck into this country, are working illegally in this country, refuse to assimilate because they just plan on making some money here only to send it back to Mexico? Ben, you seem like the type of person that get's ripped off all the time and can't figure out why.

We are discussing. I've said my thoughts. Your only input has been short sentences. The floor is yours sport.

Really, what does this have to do with immigration.

Q & A usually goes like this:

Q. Building your shit isn't contributing?

A. No, building my shit isn't contributing because they send the money back to El Salvador, they buy their goods from other illegals while they are here, and now they're sucking up taxpayer money too.

not

Q. Building your shit isn't contributing?

A. i can build my own shit. thank you!

Relevance to discussion: none.

Stop making the jump to what you think I am implying and answer the question as stated. This is why the fucking discussions here are so convoluted because people post the first smartass thing that comes to their head to flaunt their huge e-balls, instead of saying something worthwhile that might actually take a thread somewhere. Your opinion might be that I did that with my first post, but I thought it was valid, maybe saying "shit" is too rough. You guys can't even get past me posting one sentence without having panties bundled.

Ben, I said you get ripped off because that is what these immigrants are doing to this country and you seem to be okay with it. Not just okay, you defend it. Why?

P.S.- Thanks for the lecture about how to discuss things.

Saying I defend it is taking that jump that's just not present in the question I asked.

That is what you keep saying. Other then that your only comment on the issue at hand has been:

Building all your shit isn't contributing?

Other that you have just been complaining. State your opinion already then maybe we'll have more to discuss.
