On a similar note (dont think it needs a new thread)...

Are there any albums that are scheduled to come out before the end of the year that you are excited about??

I'm looking forward to the next Ed Sharpe & Magnetic Zeros album (supposedly coming out in September, but they are running out of time)

Also, Dinosaur Jr's new album comes out next week!

Neil Young's other album has caught my attention. First track is 20 something minutes long.

David Byrne & St. Vincent is solid. The new Dirty Projects and Dinosaur Jr. albums are both solid as well. Animal Collective's new album is one of the best of the year. Rush's is also one of the best. So pleasantly surprised by this album after their last one. Definitely their best studio release in a while, maybe since the 80's. got a good heavy sound to it and not really a bad song on the whole album. But the best album of the year I've heard so far is probably the new Grizzly Bear. excellent straight thru. pumped for the new Neil Young next month. 3 songs of 16 minutes, including one over 27. Neil's tryin to PAAAAAAHSH.

Nobody mentioned that Woods Brothers album. Is it from 2011? I was gone last year so maybe... Love it though.
