I missed the Dr. Dog set a little bit ago. Bummed. War On Drugs is playing now and they sound alright. Not too bad at all actually. Looking forward to Tame Impala later.

Yeah I hope everybody has a good time. I prefer a good camping fest BUT if u have a few $$$ or enough people to split a room with to keep it cheap this can be a blast.
Plenty of latenight acts around the city as well,,,
Lots of room to sprawl out. The city backdrop makes for an awesome view.
You would be hard pressed to get a better view at a fest.
Still might gobble up a day pass tomorrow or sunday

I had fun last year but it was too expensive overall to go back with this years lineup. With food, lodging, the tickets and the beers and the gas it really, really added up.
Foo Fighters in the rain was one of my favorite concert experiences though. Dave Grohl is a fucking rockstar!
Checking out Delta Spirit now.

musically the fest is alright particualrly in that it keeps up with the fresh music and doesnt beat a dead horse like many fests...
but a city fest without camping is for folks with salaries...

i had a blast from 05-08 but if you dont know anyone that lives there. its petty much the most expensive fest in the world.

I dont mind non camping fests..
cant beat a comfy bed and shower after getting filthy all day
and i dont mind paying a little extra $ if that means it keeps the trash and undesireables away
