When indoor plumbing started to become popular there were a lot of people grossed out by the idea of "going to the bathroom IN the house"

But eventually those rednecks built bathrooms too...

it's not too late to become educated on good hygiene practices.

the peeing in a bottle thing seems like it's a bit too easy to spill...

I have done lots of GD touring and quite a few festies. The key is watching for when they clean the portos, usually early in the AM. I always make coffee right away to get things moving and make sure to hit the portos right after the cleaning to take a dump. Pissing is never a problem. When in the camping area just hit the nearest tree line. When actually in the music area then there is no choice but to hit the portos to pee. Just hold your breath. Rigging something up to shit in my campsite has never been necessary. But if others want to do it then go for it.

I have no problem pooping or peeing almost anywhere, I've gone pretty much everywhere. I prefer a clean seat, fresh aroma, soft sturdy toilet paper and hand wash station but when ya gotta go, ya gotta go.

i just do it... no master plan needed...
