anyone checked these guys out? hearing some stuff on jam on i like

Seen them on the farm aid telecast.... Dude can play. I like them quite a bit.

Jam On plays the Pali Gap/New Rays Jimi cover a ton...he does it justice. Enjoyable to listen to. I like it. It sounds good. I can't complain. Wish I was at that show.

saw him open and play for his old man a couple years ago. Pretty good guitar slinger, he would do some cheesy watch me play guitar moves that kind of turned me off, but maybe he was just having fun that night.

Freehawk...judging from one of the videos and other things I've seen, I think the high energy, look at me stuff is part of his whole stage schtick. Not saying that is a bad thing, either, as long as the sounds he is making goes with all the enthusiasm.

HA, I'd never heard of this band before, and now I've run across the name twice today. MiZ is opening for them on Wed 5/23 at Nectar's in Burlington VT.

Incidentally, MiZ is also playing 2 sets at Red Square in Burlington THIS SUNDAY 5/6 at 7pm... FREE SHOW!

I have a brother near Burlington and I just emailed him this morning about these two MiZ shows. I will have to follow up and let him know I'm now hearing good things about Lukas Nelson as well. Thanks. :)

I just watched the videos... yeah the guy can play, and they sound good. His vocals are kinda Dylan-y & country-ish, yet I like them, haha. Seems like a pretty good pairing with MiZ.
