It was even revealed later that the Braves were stealing signs and still couldn't get a hit on him, with Hank Aaron, what a surprise, being the only Brave not to steal signs. An error put a guy on base, Hank Aaron was purposely walked, and a sac fly go that guy to third, and then an apparent home run won it 2-0, but it was later changed to a ground rule double, and that made it 1-0. Interesting game....and cosmic quote if you go the traditional box score on that link.

"The box score is the catechism of baseball, ready to surrender its truth to the knowing eye." - Author Stanley Cohen in The Man in the Crowd (1981)

I'm pretty sure Josh Hamilton could have beaten my team by himself last week. I took a beatdown from Gerg.

Need some closers. I cant get a save these days.

I'd be willing to trade Sergio Santos (Toronto's Closer) for some type of long reliever or starting pitcher.

He's on the DL, but it doesn't sound serious.

I might take you up on that Ferd, i'll have to evaluate my options later today. The problem is that I dont really have any relievers that you would be interested in.

I havent looked at it yet this morning. Need to see who I'm playing.

The Pirates DIDN'T lose last night. Rainout'd.

The upside is, the Pirates are the only team since 1965 to give up less than and score less than 5 runs/game in the first 15 games. So they got that going for them.

And my only starter got rocked by the Yankees to the tune of 7 runs in 6 innings.

Caspian Fielder is naylor, who doesn't seem to be playing. I wrecked him last week because he hasn't made a move since the draft. So I'm in 2nd place right now but expect to quickly drop now that I have real opponents.
