Lol, you can't argue. Perfect games doesn't equal great pitcher just great games.

Great pitchers throw great games... not sure the point you're making DR Pete.

The point I'm making is that great pitchers have great seasons, not only one great game.

It's like arguing that the team with the most grand slams has the best batting coach. Statistically irrelevant.

That may be true, but one guy throwing a perfect game has little to no bearing.

That one guy is Mark Buehrle right? He's a really good pitcher but outside of him , the White Sox are pretty meh in terms of pitching.

They need to put all their pitching focus into Gavin Floyd.....strictly for fantasy purposes.

I remember Clemson faced him a couple of years ago, Greg, when he was playing college ball at Florida Gulf Coast...it was a well attended game because of him, alot of buzz.

I'll give him a few games/years to get his feet wet. There are pitching phenom's every year.

^got this 45 on RSD (Saturday) and the song Harvey Haddix is about a Pirates pitcher from the 50's that threw a perfect game thru 9 innings but the Pirates didn't score and they lost in extras...so he's not on the list of perfect games.

made it kind of poignant that a perfect game was recorded on Saturday too.

Not just 9 innings, Fred, but for 12 innings until a run was scored.....pretty amazing, and check out that game time, only 2 hours and 54 minutes.
