I dont know if this is the place for it, but I wanted to let you guys know that...

I always hear everybody raving about how awesome Daft Punk is. I've seen and heard the name everywhere, but never listened to any of their stuff. House/electro house or whatever you call this has never really been my style. I am clearly an EDM noob.

That being said... I picked up Daft Punk ~ Discovery at Goodwill the other day for $1 and it is FANTASTIC!! I guess i've been missing out on these guys for 10+ years.

What Cosmic said. Also, I highly recommend their Essential Mix from 1997, jackin' house at its finest. I may have already posted that in here. This is them playing mostly other ppl's stuff, it kind gives a peak into what their influences were coming up.

... actually EDM would imply dancing. that Nico mix is amazing production, hardly dance-able. Really loving it though.
