i read it, i agree although i hated the gravel. i was standing on it for 3 hours before i moved up to the rail where there was steel... my flip flops were obviously not thick enough. it wouldn't have been so bad if it was a different grade, this gravel was like monster rock sized gravel

Not sure. Maybe because there wasn't access from VIP into general camping after the main concert ground shut down? Don't know, never tried.

I liked it when it was grassy but then when we went there to see The Dead and Traffic in 94 they had put those rocks there. Maybe they were having semis that deliver the stage get stuck when it rained. I remember it rained in 94 and everybody was busting their ass on the way back to their cars.

It poured in 93 too, and my parents were spun cookies, so we got TOTALLY lost trying to find our car!

That's funny. My wife and I got there late in 94. We were taping so we rushed from our car, had a beer some libations and a ballon on the way in, and on the way out we were like "where is our car"?? It took us till 5:30 AM to find it and it was easy to find because it was one of probably 2 dozen left!
