I know no one cares much about hockey during football and baseball playoffs, and a lotta people don't care at all regardless, but 20 days, I'm hyped as shot. Goin to flyers rookies vs capitals rookies tonight. So ready to be back in the arena. This should be an interesting season, a lotta teams made some serious changes this summer, especially the flyers

I still watched hockey when the flyers were the worst in the league a few years back... I'll watch any game. I actually really like watching west coast games cuz I can watch it unbiased and just enjoy the game.
But the flyers rookies beat the caps rookies tonight. We signed phil kessel's brother, Blake kessel, yesterday, and he looked good tonight. Schenn and Courturier looked good too. Other than them though I don't think many of those guys will be flyers unless their called up cuzza injuries. The kids were fighting a lot too, like 3 brawls in the 2nd period... great way to get me all hyped for the start of the season.
I'm really hyped to see what the LA Kings do this year, that squad is stacked.

Oh yeah, if the Sabres can score an average of about 2.4 goals per game...they'll prob be in the running for the President's Cup. The D and Miller are poised to be lights out.

haha, Kaleta is awesome, you'd love him if he were on your team. But I see where you're coming from.
Don't forget about the Regehr signing...he'll be solid too. And they just extended Myers for 7 years (deal doesn't kick in until after this season too).

Ferd's teams suck, sabers got swept, and steelers got their asses handed to them week one, hockey is awesome, bruins are looking fucking good (again), red wings will win the cup, odoyle rules /thread
