Event Description Thre day music festival and educational hemp exposition featuring speakers and hemp industry advocates, 30+ regional and national musical acts on two stages camping,vendors, artists and more.

Mission Statement: Jefferson State Music Festival and Hemp Expo 2012 is founded on the belief that through awareness, education, and the cooperation and coordination of citizens and public officials, many complex social issues can be mitigated.


Objective and Purpose: To host a world class music event that provides outlets for cannabis advocates to educate the public on the many potential benefits and uses of the cannabis plant. This includes religious, medicinal, industrial, agricultural, economic, environmental, and other practical applications.


Greetings, The State of Jefferson band is moving forward with their ongoing public service and community enhancement projects in southern Oregon and northern California communities. The group is proud to announce the Jefferson State Music Festival and Hemp Expo's partnership with Southern Oregon Alternative Medicine. Southern Oregon Alternative Medicine has helped thousands of patients in Oregon obtain a permit to legally possess, use and grow medical marijuana.

Hemp Expo organizers have been inspired in part by the Seattle Hempfest and the Portland Hempstalk. These events provide great outlets for citizens to express themselves in a public forum that is generally not accessible to them.
