We have leased the campground at Camp NCN Venue (formerly Jamboree Campground) in beautiful Black River Falls Wisconsin for July 29th though August 1st 2010 where it all began over 7 years ago! Ecomomics is tough for all of us. The number ONE PRIORITY of the 3G's Festival will be to KEEP TICKET PRICES THE LOWEST EVER so that you, and your family of friends can join us to enjoy this fun outdoor camping and music weekend! Other great music festivals have been hosted at this venue such as Weedstock, Farmapalooza, Sundog Summer Shakedown, The Big Wu Family Reunion, Newpalooza, Campout Roots Festival, and Effit Fest just to name a few! The venue is an 18 years of age and up which features over 75 acres of brilliant surroundings with tall trees that nicely shades your camp site. The venue has a full array of conveniences, including 2 shower facilities with flushing toilets and hot showers and other luxurious accommodations. But check this out! Other venue amenities include a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, hiking trails, outdoor/indoor shower facility, full service concessions with food, and supplies! Can you dig it! So please come jam with your friends and enjoy this weekend of good vibes, camping, and dancing! The best part is just getting together with friends, relaxing under shade trees, and just having good 'ol outdoor fun! The 3G's Festival is going to be a blast! In case this is your first time here, every summer we bring Deadheads, Hippies and the Kind folks like you a truly wonderful friendly camping and music festival experience. Theres always crazy things going on, with great vendors, crafted handworks, arts, tie-dye stuff, awsome food vendors, and not to mention beautiful hempwear! The 3G's Festival is aways around the same weekend as Jerry Garcia's Birthday. All of us do this to honor the music, life, and spirit of guitarist Jerry Garcia! This is going to be a very deeply humble, and special time for camping and gathering with friends of old and new! The 3G's Festival will be a mix of wonderful music by some of the best jam bands in the Midwest to rock your soul! CAMPING: Campers will be able to have campfires at each individual campsite and firewood is available for purchase at the campground! There will be plenty of awesome vendors on-site for you to check out, a kind and friendly atmosphere, and a stellar musical lineup for all to enjoy! As always, there is going to be a memorabilia "Jerry Garcia Shrine" near the main stage. All attendees are encouraged to bring pictures, candles, ticket stubs, tie-dyes, old posters with Jerry's signature, any and all related items related to Jerry Garcia, or the Grateful Dead! You can place it at the shrine for all to enjoy! Mystix Toyz will be on board at the 3G's Festival for tons of family fun with Juggling Demonstrations, Juggling Workshops, Hoops, Face Painting, plus Drum/Fire Jams, and so much more every night!   • 8/20/2010 - 8/22/2010 THC Music Festival Alma, CO: Town of Alma McGoon Productions is proud to present the first annual THC Music Festival (The Highest Music Festival in the World!), August 20-22, 2010. This is a totally unique music experience, located in historic Alma, Colorado. Presenting 40 Bands, ranging in genres from Rock, Funk, Reggae, Blues, Bluegrass, Jazz, Indie, Americana Roots, Country, Latin, Hip-Hop, Metal, Alternative, and more. Performances on 2 Showcase Stages during the day and 3 showcase stages at night, 50+ arts, crafts, and food vendors all attracting an average of 4,000+ music fans per day nationwide and from the surrounding area for the 3 day event. Best of all, the Highest Music Festival in the World, is just $25 for the weekend or $15 per day. Alma is the highest incorporated town in North America at 10,578 feet, founded in 1873. Within it's limits are couple of restaurants/bars, health food store/coffee shop, general store, and numerous other stores. There are five 14ers that rise above the town: Sherman (14,007), Mt.Bross (14,172 feet), Mt. Lincoln (14,286 feet), Mt. Democrat (14,148 feet), and Mt. Cameron (14,238 feet). There are many 12 and 13ers as well! There are many old mines around the area and a few that are still operational. In their day, they would produce over $1,500,000 in minerals annually. Their colorful names include the Orphan Boy Mine, Dolly Varden Mine, Sweet Home Mine, Little Daisy Mine, and London Mine. There are many great things to see and do in and around Alma. The Bristlecon Pine Scenic Area is at the base of Mt. Bross and is a great place for photographers, artists, and those that just love hiking and taking in the views. Bristlecone Pines are native to the Rocky Mountains and are thousands of years old. For those that want a driving adventure, take a drive up Buckskin Gulch all the way to Kite Lake. Or, fly-fish on the Middle Fork of the South Platte River or fish Montgomery Reservoir. So much to do and see! Come and experience the beauty and the history of Alma, Colorado and be surrounded by Mountains ranging in heights of over 14,000 ft. Alma is an easy 90 minutes from Denver and Colorado Springs.
