Moksha Means "Business": Fri 9/12/2008 2:22PM; From "Vegas Rocks! Magazine"- September '08 It is the ultimate irony. MOKSHA, Vegas' penultimate jam/funk band, draws it's spiritual strength from the non-commercial -- from "transcendence of phenomenal being, a state of higher consciousness, in which time, space, causation (karma) and the other features of empirical reality are understood as Maya (illusion)." Yet this Vegas music stalwart brings bigger crowds and has a stronger following than almost any other band on the scene, a result that appeals commercially to any venue lucky to have them jam on their stage and energize their cash registers
