About me:A true band of family and friends, The Brothers Comatose have their roots deeply seeded in late night jam sessions in various living rooms, porches and street corners. For well over a decade, Gio, Joe and brothers Alex and Ben, have been playing music they love for friends, fans, themselves and anyone who happens to be within earshot. With the addition of Philip on fiddle, The Brothers Comatose have completed a string band lineup that finds comfort in a brand of music that utilizes traditional American musical styling, and is flavored with a deeply personal and original twist. Keeping things simple, The Brothers Comatose use straightforward song structures with a powerful and passionate delivery, and it’s the delivery that sets this band apart from the rest. Rather than playing music to the audience, The Brothers Comatose invite the crowd to engage in the musical experience, encouraging stomping, drumming, hooting and hollering. Fiery live performances and the boys good timey attitudes infect the crowd and always leave them wanting more.
